We’re powered by music, the creativity of our community, and you. Your support makes the radio, events, and gatherings we bring to Portland possible, but keeping it all alive comes with very real costs.
This is our most important fundraiser of the year, and hitting our goal means we can keep broadcasting in 2026 and bring you the 5th Anniversary of Shady Pines Festival this summer! 🌲
Your support covers essentials like music licensing, web services, marketing, festival seed money more. Donate today to keep SPR alive and thriving for another year!
Here’s how your contributions will make a difference: This fundraiser helps cover our core costs that keep Shady Pines Radio running: Radio Operations $10,000 Festival Seed Money $10,000 Staff & Hired Services $10,000 App & Web Development $3,000 Other Event Programming $4,000 Marketing & Design $3,000 TOTAL: $40,000 This covers roughly one-quarter of our annual operating budget. It doesn’t fund the entire year, but it gives us the solid footing we need to make everything else possible. The festival alone is projected to cost around $80,000, before accounting for year-round radio, staffing, and community programming. Your contribution gives us the stability to keep the station alive, and helps build the foundation that makes everything else possible. If we reach our $50,000 stretch goal, it will give our growth in 2026 a real boost, help us put on an even better music festival, and strengthen our long-term sustainability.

Buy Pinecoins (aka tickets) for the big raffle! All proceeds from raffle sales count toward our goal, but are not tax-deductible. To enter, just visit the Prize Portal after donating.

The Fun Raiser is happening all over town during this 17-day stretch. Here’s what’s coming up!

Feb. 19, 7p,m-12am @ Archy's Bunker
House show w/ Jewelry Exchange, Club Deluxe, and Filling. A portion of proceeds goes to the Fun Raiser! Near junior's cafe on Mulberry St. in Ladd's Addition.
Feb 22 - Fun Raiser Finale @ SPR HQ
For the final day of the Fun Raiser, we will be broadcasting live all day long from SPR HQ, as we rally to cross the finish line to our goal.
Anyone who donates $100+ to the Fun Raiser is invited to join us in person! There will be DJs, live performers and fun on-air antics.
There will be free drinks, including a keg from Fire on the Mountain, gin from Big Bottom Distilling, and non-alcoholic options too. More details to come!
